The
first of these two songs has an electronic feel to it with some block-rocking
beats and an audio clip being sampled that sounds like it’s saying “tap the
space app”, but I’m not sure.
Regardless, there is some tapping in this song at least and that seems
only fitting if my judgment is being hindered as to what is being said exactly.
The
second track has more of an Addams Family vibe to it, as there are some drum
machine noises (like clicks) that go with the beats, but there is just an
overall piano/organ vibe that makes me think of the Addams Family, if even only
in their modern movie sense over the original television series, though I did
enjoy both.
These
two songs were released around the same time as “Extended Play 1”, which is
also two songs, and so putting them together as an EP of four songs seems like
it would have been an option based on the numbers alone, but if you listen to
both of them you can see why they don’t really go together after all.
