Vocals do eventually come into these songs that are ambient at times, yet at other times verge on post rock. A number of bands do make this transition between songs or even during songs for whatever reason, and I don’t quite understand why you jump back and forth between the genres instead of just picking one, but I suppose asking a band to pick one is like asking me to pick a style to review and stick with it and I refuse.
Whether you’re a fan of ambient, post rock, Hammock, neither or both you should listen to this at least twice.
