MP3 REVIEW: Savage Sister “Huge Moves” (Wild Patterns)

            Savage Sister is back and it is quite possible that every piece of music they put out just gets better.   These three songs are mostly on the instrumental side, though there are some vocals or at least talking parts here and there.   Obviously if you’ve ever heard Savage Sister before you’ll recognize this as being super dreamy even without having heard it and it definitely lives up to that.

            There is also this vibe within that crosses new wave with new age.   On one hand, it has the feel of it to some forgotten movie of the 1980’s or 1990’s (I said “Some Kind of Wonderful”, but really it should be a lesser known movie) and then yet at the same time there seem to be some hints of Enya.

            However you paint it, it sounds good to me and that’s all that matters.   Always good to hear new music from Savage Sister.
