Mozes
& the Firstborn are a sort of heavy, distorted garage rock that I don’t
entirely hate. It seems like lately a
lot of the bands in this genre are putting out albums that all sound the same
and I just keep thinking it’s one guy releasing music under different band
names. Luckily for those of us who
actually like music and don’t just blindly follow a genre, this isn’t that bad.
It’s
somewhere between the early work of Local H and the guitar pieces of Eric
Clapton. I can hear Bob Dylan come out
at times as well, but that’s nothing new.
