When “Tassili Plateau” begins, there are spoken word parts over beats, something about a citadel, but then we shift over into a new wave/dark wave sort of sound. The beats are mellow and moderately paced with loops. Slight vocals come out at times, when not coming out in full, over slowed down synth pop rock.
Some
of these songs can also be short and instrumental, but a lot of the reason why
this would sound so great on cassette is because it has a hidden vibe that
reminds me of the first New Kids on the Block cassette.
