The
first thing that I notice about these songs is that at the end of each one it
says “rehearsal”. Isn’t that kind of
like a demo, in the sense that it is an unfinished piece in some ways?
In any
event, this band brings out some interesting dreamy shoegaze that is somewhere
along the lines of MBV and The Consolation Project. It also draws out some elements of post rock
and the vocals sometimes can sound like Good Charlotte.
Overall,
I do enjoy these songs and this band I just feel that from a music listener’s
point of view, the levels on a lot of these songs need to be adjusted so that
rather than sounding like separate musical parts they all can come together and
gel.
