With
some songs being only a minute or so long, The Huxtables do have that
occasional song that tips the two minute marker, but then again they also have
a song which is 18 seconds in length and another which is only 8 seconds long.
Time
doesn’t seem important, in terms of song length, but I definitely feel that it
does serve some purpose here because this upbeat, semi-fast paced garage rock
mixed with a little bit of surf is what I can best refer to as an instrumental
version of Cafeteria Dance Fever.
Being
that not many bands out there sound like CDF, or have their sense of urgency,
this is a definite win in my book.
