CD REVIEW: Jon Sandler “Late Night Champ”

Jon SandlerLate Night Champ
This isn’t necessarily bad, but it isn’t necessarily good either.  At some point, you have to admit that the piano and vocals sound good together, with the other various instruments that appear throughout the album, but at the same time you can get this same feeling and overall effect from a great number of other artists that have been more commercially acceptable.   (See:  Jason Mraz, John Mayer, names like that)
Mostly, this will probably get hits from either a) People hoping this is Adam’s brother or b) People so out of touch that they have somehow not yet heard of James Blunt.    While I know that James Blunt is alive and well, with at least three albums under his belt, I don’t really need to be listening to this again.
