Gold Teeth funny song about how much other rappers are so concerned over grills
Recently, I’ve been downloading and listening to music like crazy from Band Camp. This is a review of a group of songs by the same band I got from Band Camp- usually it constitutes an EP. This is a song-by-song review and it is never to exceed six songs. At the end, I will tell you the “Recommended Downloading Level”, which means whether or not I think you should spend your time downloading these songs. It’s on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 meaning that you should stop reading my review and download these songs immediately and 1 meaning that if you even think about downloading these songs your computer will be infected with a horrific bad music virus. Enjoy.
<1> “It Was a Good Day (Ain’t That Peculiar)” [4:29] – This is a cover of the Ice Cube song of the same name. It has a bit more funk to it, complete with the soulful backup singers. By the way, these first seven songs are all listed as Nasty Nique for the artist.
<2> “Pennies” [4:16] – Probably the easiest song out of these ten to forget about.
<3> “Gold Teeth” [5:31] – This song is about how rappers obsess over their grills. It’s pretty cool.
<4> “Being Popular Sux” [4:21] – Yes, yes it does. People always wanting something from you…
<5> “Underachiever” [5:25] – In the chorus, the titular word is spelled out for us. Hey, I want some hip hop dammit not an English class lesson! Although he did say the contra code and that was funny.
<6> “Westbury Get the Money (Gold Teeth Reprise)” [9:45] – This song is long. I wonder if it holds any record for longest rap or something. Well, now it’s just into a lot of dinging near the 4 minute mark. And now I believe he is doing ring around the rosy.
<7> “Alive” (3:19] – Apparently Loz the Lyric3st is a Mexicannibal. This song is cool and also features Renzo, who I dig. At some points during this song I’m waiting for Eminem to start rapping, but likely he never does.
<8> (forgot the name of this song) [5:12] – It’s a bit more mellow than the others, but still a good song.
<9> “Grown Man Talk” [2:47] – Yes, this song has That Purple Bastard on it with Ensane, Alibi Rankz and the mighty Kyle Hubbard. If you’re not rocking this out of your speakers you’re immature.
<10> “The Second Hand” [4:34] – This song has the Killafornianz on it as well as D-Sin, so yeah, you need to be listening to Killifornianz.
For reviewing purposes, yes, it was easier to just tackle these ten songs one at a time. This is especially because the last three songs were all bonus tracks I downloaded that aren’t part of the Breakfast of Bastards album. Nonetheless, you cannot miss these songs.
Recommended Downloading Level: 6 /5
