When I saw this comic book sitting on the shelf and glanced at the cover, I immediately knew that not only did I have to read it, but that I’d enjoy it greatly. That little teddy bear looking so determined and driving a car on the cover just made my day.
In the early parts of this story- before people believe Mr. Stuffins does in fact talk and has much military experience- I found the relationship between boy and bear to be much like that of Calvin and Hobbes.
The best way to describe this comic book so that one might want to read it is how I explained it to my wife to encourage her to read it: It’s only three issues, so it goes by fast… and a lot of the panels are just Mr. Stuffins fighting the bad guys, so it goes by even faster.
A true gem that my son will soon come to love.
