This starts
as synth wave, as the idea of synth makes me think of the sympathizer in the
title, but as you are listening to it, thinking you have it all figured out, it
does suddenly blurt out some random harsh noise spots that are kind of like a
modem. It can be Doogie Howser or even Owl City, but
it can also just have these sort of violent attacks you can’t explain or ever
see coming.
The
tone does eventually slow down and then it drifts more towards something like
Buck Rogers or 8bit and it’s a nice piece all around but definitely not what I
had expected when I first played it, though it is nice to see the mix up
between beauty and chaos.
