MP3 REVIEW: Illegal Wiretaps “In on the Exorcism”

It has been a while since I have reviewed the Illegal Wiretaps, but I have still been listening to them and do still plan on getting all of their releases reviewed by some point in time.   This year I really want to focus more on the discography reviews over just single albums, so let’s have a go at it here, since I’ve got so many of these already.

The first song on here has a noise that I cannot place.  It comes through in waves, as it gets louder and quieter as the track goes on.  The second song adds in a bit of a beat, while the third has some sort of stadium synth gone whirring.

There are loops and distorted bass on the last song- all of which are instrumental- and the repetition of it almost becomes unbearable and then it just abruptly cuts off.   So these four songs would be the experimental instrumental side of IWTs and also maybe the soundtrack to an exorcism
.
