At
one point, these songs get choppy, like a CD skipping, which I found odd for a
digital download. In any case,
deathonthestars could be a prime example as to exactly how less can sometimes
be more. With a fuzzy, post rock driven
sound, this can sometimes come off smaller and much more ambient, yet at other
times the synth can give it an almost stadium rock type sound.
I
made the most interesting note (which I think best sums this up on the whole)
that in some ways these songs can be so diverse, but yet in other ways there
isn’t much too them at all. I do enjoy that it has both those qualities
at once- the seeming nothing and everything.
