The
thing about Arvensis and the album “Sleep Paralysis” is that you really have to
listen to it all the way through to perhaps understand it. There are some acoustic guitar riffs and
elements of something that I would expect from an instrumental Trent Reznor project,
and as such this is quite remarkable really.
You don’t
really hear that particular sound come out until the end though. The beginning could be best described as
electro noise, with sounds like dripping and even those glasses that tend to
make that certain sound.
This
also sounds most excellent on cassette (I would assume) and it was made as a
limited run of ten, so if they’re not gone when I post this you really should
add that to your collection also.
