This is
available as a cassette and it actually sounds like it would be ideal to hear
in that format. The songs are slightly
different, but still there are two of them and they would presumably be one per
side.
The
first song has more of the High Pop feel to it, mixed with EFS and Phantom
Planet. I also like to think of it as
being a sort of dark indie pop, like an Evil Beatles if you will. The second song, shorter in length, has more
of an acoustic vibe to it and reminds me of something from the Juno soundtrack
with perhaps a hint of Animal Flag.
As far
as cassettes go, yes, this would be an excellent cassingle and if you’re lucky
enough to own one then good for you. I
only hope that this will lead to more great music from Four Visions and on
cassette for that matter. (Though there
are three other releases up on Band Camp that I must now go look into)
