This
album starts off with an instrumental track, but by the second one it does get
vocals. It also has that familiar but
not too familiar quality to it where it could be kind of like PolySpree but
not. It has the usual EFS coming out in
it and on the song “Advanced Falconry” I can hear Coldplay but I won’t hold
that against Mutual Benefit.
Some
strings and other pretty things come into play, as well my favorite- the wind chimes,
before I begin to truly see that this is awesome because it is neither too hard
nor too soft. This is one you should buy
on vinyl if available.
Band
Camp is streaming two of the songs here: http://mutualbenefit.bandcamp.com/album/loves-crushing-diamond
