CASSETTE REVIEW: Torn Humorist “Everyone Works So Hard” (Bridgetown Records)

                I’m not sure why this band decided to do the 5-3 split on an eight song tape, but let’s go with it.   These instrumental songs could be off of the Dead Like Me soundtrack but also feature a… saxophone? 

                I do enjoy this particular blend of music that takes me back to the days when I first started reviewing music and was sent albums by Sweep the Leg Johnny.   Does that band even still exist?   Nonetheless, listen to the clicking of the drum machine and Torn Humorist shall be your new friend.
