CASSETTE REVIEW: Tim Chaplin “Daisy Chain Fridays” (Bleeding Gold Records)

                This is one of two cassettes I received for free as part of Cassette Store Day 2013.  They five songs from Tim Chaplin repeat on Side B and they channel an alt-rocker type with that distorted feedback and dirty guitar that you might find on the “No Alternative” compilation.

                Yes, Tim Chaplin seems out of place in the time that grunge forgot, but he reminds me enough of Matthew Sweet that he’s okay in my book.
