The
first song on “November” is titled “Hey
Grace, Hey Tony” and it is a love sickening back and forth between the two
titular characters that I’m sure would even make Sonny and Cher cringe.
Falling
somewhere between She & Him and a Johnny Cash/June Carter Cash duet (and
falling short for that matter) Grace and Tony should be able to tap into the
mainstream sound of bands like Mumford & Sons and more obviously Of
Monsters and Men pretty well.
But
this band is not doing anything new or different. They’re not putting out songs you haven’t
heard in better variations before. And
what’s more so is that I’m not even sure they are genuine.
