Originally, I wanted to say that this was a form of Brit rock, but then realized that this band is actually from Australia. Is there something like Brit rock only for Australia? Aussie rock? Austrock? Silverchair? Yahoo Serious?
Anyway, this has that sound of The Replacements or Superdrag mixed with FNL, though yes there are vocals. So it’s something between indie pop rock and post rock, which is apparently a great combination.
