High Pop “Hip Hip Hooray”
For twelve songs, this twee-ish based album goes by pretty quickly. I can hear hints of Hunx and His Punx, Stone Temple Pilots (second album era) and Weezer (specifically the song “Jamie”) on this album and it’s all quite good.
My favorite part has to be the song “Loner”, with such relatable lyrics as “Go outside, Sean, everybody wants you to”. Except my name’s not Sean, but you get the point.
