Broken Fences s/t
There are a few different ways to describe a band like Broken Fences and most of them can be done by comparing the current and past female fronted bands. This would include anyone from Cranberries, Cardigans, that dog, Tori Amos, Amy Lee and Innocence Mission. Though there are occasional male backing vocals which could also draw comparisons to Rainer Maria and who knows who else.
What you’ll learn by listening to these songs is simply that put (Especially in the third track, “Simplicity”) Broken Fences make pure pop beauty and bliss. If you don’t find something to like in this then you don’t have a soul.
