> 1) What do you want people to hear most when they hear your music?
I want them to hear an interesting story presented by a kickass band.

I've found the virtual-format very helpful as far as spreading the
word and planning tours, but having and selling the physical cds (as
well as having the songs available to buy online) is the only thing
that makes it possible to scrape together a living from music. I'd
love to have my music released on vinyl but am unable to afford it at
the time. As for having the songs available to download for free,
people can stream my music for free on bandcamp, but if they want to
own it they can buy it, and I think that's just fine.

I have not yet ventured into the world of labels. I think they are
something i'll start considering in the next year, but at this point
I'm not sure how helpful/hindering they might be. But yes, I was able
to record and release my music without a label. There are limitations
with that though: there's no way I can personally distribute it to
all the different cd and record stores, a label would help to spread
my music beyond my immediate surroundings and contacts, a label could
help fund another recording. I was lucky to have raised enough money
on Kickstarter to fund the recording of my last record, but it would
be nice to have some help with the next one!

Oh man, I'm completely in love with Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside
right now....I'd like to tour with her just to hear her sing every day
and get to hang out with her. Otherwise, Arcade Fire would be pretty
incredible.
> 5) Who is your favorite New Kid on the Block?
This will probably lose me some fans, but I don't really know any of
the New Kids on the Block's names. I was a little distracted and
daydreamy as a kid and thus missed a lot of pop culture.

I would really hope that Jack White would win. Jack Black would
probably win the Karate contest though.
