SBSR: Affordable Caskets “Smaug”

Affordable Caskets “Smaug”
Recently, I’ve been downloading and listening to music like crazy from Band Camp.   This is a review of a group of songs by the same band I got from Band Camp- usually it constitutes an EP.   This is a song-by-song review and it is never to exceed six songs.   At the end, I will tell you the “Recommended Downloading Level”, which means whether or not I think you should spend your time downloading these songs.   It’s on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 meaning that you should stop reading my review and download these songs immediately and 1 meaning that if you even think about downloading these songs your computer will be infected with a horrific bad music virus.   Enjoy.
<1> “Smaug” [9:22] – I downloaded this one song from the band Affordable Caskets, however there are I believe two others up on their Band Camp site at this time.  I’ve decided to take things more on a one by one basis when it comes to downloading because I can find something download everything I can with positive results (Illegal Wiretaps, One-Eyed Doll) or it can have negative results (Hayley Jane or whoever).   In any case, this song is just still lightly strumming an acoustic guitar.   Now it’s getting dark and heavy like a thunderstorm.    And here comes some distortion.   Just past the five minute mark now and the distortion has turned into keys.   Oh, it sounds like the show Friday Night Lights is starting.   Eight and a half minutes now and the song is finally winding down.   It cuts off just before nine minutes for some reason, the rest is just dead air.
Recommended Downloading Level:  2/5
