The Ueckers “Demos” (Mooster Records)
These are punk rock sort of songs along the lines of The Mr. T Experience except they all seem to be about baseball. There is a faint hint of Beach Boys thrown in for good measure that I really like. Even though these songs are marked as demos, they still have a rather clean sound so they have that going for them as well. Yes, I admittedly do like these songs and them being about baseball definitely helps. Is their name perhaps a reference to Bob Uecker?
