I’m
not really sure how this is supposed to be interpreted because it is untitled,
so I do enjoy that left my mind free to wander, though the directions of how to
hear this could’ve been laid out before me step by step and I’d still manage to
wander.
We
open with a flurry of strings, from such a violin, and it is the sign that the
great deep sea explorer has discovered treasure at the bottom of some uncharted
ocean. It gets that bottom of the ocean
sound, which makes me think that after the initial excitement we are on our way
and as they like to say in nautical school “Dive! Dive! Dive!”
Commanding
synth brings us back up, because now it is not just the weight of the diver but
also the treasure he has unleashed. Pretty strings such as an orchestra begin the
celebration, though it is not all fun and games. By the end, we have string noises such as
scratching and we end with some frequency changes, which could amount for any
number of difficulties faced at this grand feat.
Regardless
of whether or not this music takes you to water or you remain on dry land, it
has the sense that good things can seemingly happen- and we get excited about
them- but sometimes they truly do come at a price.
