The
music of BC Grimm centers around two main instruments, which have been in
various ways on different levels by a number of other artists. These two instruments are of course the
guitar and the piano. Typically, this
makes me think of someone like Billy Joel, but “The Ideating Knell” is a bit of
a stretch from anything like that.
Strings
sounding so delicately plucked and perhaps elements of guitar tuning make up a
certain amount of this album. There is
also something like a sitar or some sort of non-traditional guitar coming out
on here I believe (Or at least it just sounds like it)
Piano
pieces leave you wanting more and are just overall pretty, though for both of
these instruments that you will mainly hear you definitely gather the sense
that BC Grimm has been classically trained in them and has become well
versed. People spend a lifetime trying
to create a sound that is this pure and good.
