SPOTIFY REVIEW: Bohren & der Club of Gore "Piano Nights" (Ipecac)

            This is almost some kind of dark lit room type of slowed down piano jazz and I really do like it.  It’s not quite Beatnik, but it also isn’t something that I hear every day in this world of modern music that also tries to sound the same and only ends up angering me.

            Perhaps it is the quiet sound of the saxophone as well, but this also could be something out of a noir movie.   I like to think of it as being the soundtrack to Sin City, if Sin City was made in the 1950’s.
