Many things are happening on this
album. It reminds me, initially, of what
would happen if Daniel Johnston was to front Animal Collective. Neon Trees and Thursday come out a little bit
as well. Then we begin to hear the
Modest Mouse influence. And ultimately
we get into the Flaming Lips, although it’s not without a little bit of
Coldplay first in “Ezekiel”.
Needless to say, this isn’t my cup
of tea.
