SPOTIFY REVIEW: Nine Inch Nails “Hesitation Marks”

The most interesting song on this new album is “A Copy Of” because this album sounds like a copy of a copy of a copy.  They use the idea of taking two steps forward for every two steps back in a negative way, but for Trent Reznor it somehow works in a positive way.

“Hesitation Marks” seems to be the next logical progression in the style of his music and heading forward it’s what you would expect based on past releases.   However, it does also tip its hat backwards in time to pay homage to “Pretty Hate Machine”, which is a definite plus.
