My
first question about this music was whether or not this guy was the front man
for The Mountain Goats because he has similar vocal qualities. After determining that he is not (Thanks
Wikipedia!), I can hear the punk of a band like Rancid coming out behind the
one man band project of someone like Daniel Johnston.
Spotify
compares Ezra Furman to Violent Femmes, which I wouldn’t go so far as to say
that, but he does somewhat resemble Adam Ant—I will give him that.
