SPOTIFY REVIEW: Sebadoh “Defend Yourself”

It’s kind of hard for me to describe Sebadoh.  Any time you hearing the slightest bit of something in them, you don’t want to go, “Oh, they sound like Smoking Popes”, because odds are Smoking Popes were influenced by Sebadoh.

Just know that this album is also available through their Band Camp for $10 on red cassette.  I could buy other cassettes at $5 a pop, so I’m debating whether or not to get this one.  If I had all their other music on cassette, yeah, I’m a completist, but the only Lou Barlow I have on cassette is in the form of Dinosaur Jr. and a Folk Implosion cassingle.
