The
first song on here reminds me a lot of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day”. Then strings and fancy backing vocals come in
along with that Iron & Wine, Devendra Banhart, Sufjan Stevens style of
sound.
But
then the second song comes in with female vocals and drum beats. I really don’t mind this band so much when
there are female vocals, but when the guy sings it just sounds like too much
already existing music.
