The
best way for me to describe Policenaut is to say that this comes off somewhere
between The Illegal Wiretaps and Radiohead.
It could be considered experimental rock, even electronic at times in
the slightest of ways, but what it really comes out as musically is
acoustic.
One of
the highest influences I can hear come out at times as well is Johnny Cash, who
in his own ways comes out in The Illegal Wiretaps anyway, but yes, this is like
The Illegal Wiretaps covering Radiohead perhaps, which is fine in my book.
