MP3 REVIEW: Calyer “In the Haze”

On this album (which is six songs in total), the first track is instrumental before finding a guitar note driven shoegaze kind of sound mixed with dream pop, which could be dreamgaze?  Is that a thing yet?   The second song brings us into Modern English in a punk way.   The third is more electronica and goes back to being instrumental.

This reminds me a lot of The Illegal Wiretaps and I do like it.  “Strange Pleasures” is just a fantastic song.    And before all is said and done, we get a taste of the blues, some piano and a reference to Adele (by me)  This might sound like it’s all over the place, but when it comes together it works oh so well.
