These
two songs start off with that gritty punk indie quality of a band such as Hot
Water Music, but then they quickly turn into some screaming ala From Autumn to
Ashes. I don’t always like to judge a
band based upon one or two of their songs because I don’t feel like it’s enough
material to be able to tell if I will like them or not.
It is
possible that I could sit through an entire album by Basement Ghost, of 10+
songs, and not like them all, but I do like these two songs enough that I’d at
least be willing to give them a shot.
