Digits “Only Affection EP”
These songs have a Queen bass line at times, breathy vocals like EMF and then they can kick into the new wave/synth pop/club rock sound ala MGMT. It’s not that bad, but I do have a feeling there are a lot of other bands doing this exact same thing right at this very moment in time. For me, it’s like a lesser version of the dancy/poppier Blue October songs, so I pass.
