SBSR: Charmparticles “The Year We Make Contact”

CharmparticlesThe Year We Make Contact
<1> “Coal Black Clear” --  This song begins with sultry female vocals and high hat cymbals that could be like something out of a gin joint in an old movie.   The chorus kicks in a bit, but it still has the same overall vibe of Jessica Rabbit.
<2> “Sad Day Natasha” – We open with a guitar pattern and somewhat lighter female vocals.  I want to think this song will come out sounding more like Bjork or Fiona Apple for some reason.  Oh, but boy did it just kick in to such a better extent.    Well, that was a fairly short song, wasn’t it?
<3> “It Only Ends Once” – That guitar and vocals from the previous song returns to open this track.  “Always know I love you”- awwwwww.   This song was also fairly short.
