MP3 REVIEW: Polly Scattergood “Wanderlust” [single]

Polly Scattergood Wanderlust” [single]
We open with an audio clip, and then quickly transfer to big drums and synth rock.   The female vocals in the verses remind me of Alanis Morissette.   Forget every word I just said.   The chorus has a slightly different sound to it, but this is definitely an album in and of itself worth of a song.
There’s money in the liquor jar.
There are also lasers in the chorus.   And the best spoken word portion of quite possibly any song.  Ever.   Because when I shut my eyes, I can also hear an orchestra playing.
