Toy Review: Drax / Marvel Super Hero Mashers (Hasbro)

We found Drax after Christmas and he is our newest Marvel Masher.   Since Quentin has been collecting the Star Wars Mashers now and we keep seeing new ones coming out in the line that he wants I'm okay with the release schedule for Marvel Mashers in the sense that it doesn't feel like we get a lot at one time.   Still, Drax completes our Guardians of the Galaxy collection since women can't be Mashers (I admit it, it'd be weird) and I enjoy the simplicity in his design because it makes him look more like a cartoon and less like Batista.

The funny thing is, there was once a Marvel Legends series which had Groot as the Build-A-Figure but we didn't get them.    We have a few different Guardians of the Galaxy figures here and there, but aside from the Tsum Tsums this is really our first complete set of them as a team, well as complete as the Mashers are going to get anyway.    The only way I feel like we're going to get a more complete set of GotG figures is in the Playskool Heroes line, which I hope we do see by the time the second movie comes out.

So where do we go from here?   Obviously there are villains in both the worlds of Daredevil and GotG to be made, but I also would really just love to see Gambit and other X-Men including but not limited to: Nightcrawler, Beast, Cyclops, Magneto, Colossus (Who we have pieces for but doesn't have a proper release) and then of course in no particular order Cable, Bishop and Howard the Duck.   The characters are there in the Marvel Universe it's only a matter of time.
