SPOTIFY REVIEW: Milagres "Violent Light" (Kill Rock Stars)

             I kept seeing this band on the main page of Band Camp, talking about being compared to early Bowie, so I figured I needed to give it a listen and, yeah, I can hear that coming out for sure.  But what surprised me most about Milagres is that I hear a number of other bands coming out in their first few songs, bands such as Radiohead, Coldplay and even The Fray, and despite my complete and utter disinterest in those bands, this still has managed to keep my interest far enough to get into those Bowie-esque tunes mixed with Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, Rush and even Springsteeen.  So bravo, Milagres.  This is a fine album indeed.
