Band of Holy Joy has been releasing music on Exotic Pylon for quite some time
now, yet this is my first time hearing them.

This is
flat out rock. It’s got hints of FNL and
there are strings, but it just flat out rocks.
For comparisons sake, it combines the likes of Bruce Springsteen with
Spacehog which, yeah, doesn’t probably help you much establish an idea of what
this might sound like in your head because, you know, kind of vague.
Let’s
just say that this is a rather gifted bunch of musicians and you need to be
listening to this not tomorrow but today.
