SPOTIFY REVIEW: Autistic Youth "Nonage" (Dirtnap Records)

Punk rock means a lot of things to a lot of people these days, a lot of which comes down to who can spend the most money at Hot Topic on a Good Charlotte hoodie.   While there are several different layers of punk rock, and a lot of them sound like Rancid, this is actually a nice throw back to some of the earlier punk rock I listened to after going through the classics.

Somewhere between the earlier work of Unwritten Law and a lot of what Pennywise did,  This early Nitro Records/mid-Epitaph type punk rock sound might be the forgotten era of punk or it’s just that not enough people are doing it or I’m not aware enough of it currently to bring this in comparison to someone modern.

Whatever Autistic Youth is doing, more bands need to take notice.
