MP3 REVIEW: Alone “Alone”

                The sound of Alone is one of hip hop, only not.  I at first heard traces of Cake or that one Butthole Surfers song that everyone knows, but the songs progress to where they sound more like spoken word poetry over beats.

                The lyrics themselves are dark and focus on subjects such as death, so it’s also interesting to tie that together with the name and being that we all die alone, etc.   I really do like these songs though and since this is self-titled I think a good album title for future reference would be “Deleted Facebook Comments”, a quote from one of the songs.
