Vocally, Wild Belle have the style of someone like Adele or whoever you like that’s tearin’ up those rock charts. But, musically they have the ska guitars, horns and beats of a reggae dub band. Needless to say, I really do enjoy this musically as it’s a step above anything that Gwen Stefani has ever done, but the vocals still make me feel like a lot of people will write this off as Florence + the Ska Machine.
