These
seven songs are a bit all over the place, but they manage to remain in some
sort of structure so as to not make them completely random in nature.
We open
thinking it might be instrumental post rock.
Vocals come in and it gets heavy, but I can still see it as being
something suited for Deep Elm.
There
aren’t really a lot of vocals, but the guitars come through crunchy. Then on the song “Nautica” is gets all the
hardcore starts and stops with screaming interlaced. This reminds me more of a band like Eyes Like
Mirrors (or Her Stems Spiral) and I feel like this might even be post hardcore.
We end
on a song called “Waves” which just has some straight up singing. I’m left a little confused, a little unsure
where on the map to place this, but I do still like it and that’s all that
really matters.
