It’s
hard to describe the music of His Clancyness because it’s a little bit all over
the place. Acoustic 8bit at first, there
are also hints of surf punk and garage rock.
Mostly though, it just sounds like something I really wouldn’t ever find
myself listening to otherwise.
Whether
it be a lesser version of Interpol or Death Cab or simply a band rejected from
Burger Records for not fitting their high quality of releases, His Clancyness
is just something that doesn’t need to exist.
