Deltron
3030 is apparently a rapper, a hip hop artist if you will, and on this album he
has many special guests. Those guests
include former Rage Against the Machine front man Zach De La Rocha, who really
needs a steady music project these days, Damon Albarn, Mike Patton, Emily Wells
and some others.
There
are also some non-musicians on here, such as Joseph Gordon Levitt and David
Cross is in two skits with Joan of Arcadia.
But the thing is that, these people just do voiceovers more than sing or
whatever. I mean, come on, even Steve
Martin would pick up a banjo.
Essentially,
this album is a lot of big names (or well known names) overshadowing the fact
that without them it would be mediocre at best.
All style, no substance as the kids would say. Actually, the kids would probably buy into
this and tweet about it for some reason.
