SPOTIFY REVIEW: Superchunk “I Hate Music”

                Gina and I had this conversation about this album title.  She wanted to know why someone who hated music was in a band making music and all that.  I also wonder how much Superchunk is setting themselves up here for some backlash over the album title, in terms of it leaving them very open to ridicule.

                But mostly I think of this album title as being that conversation between the awkward teens where the boy goes, “So… Do you like music?” and the girl replies, “No, I’m the one person in the world who doesn’t like music”.

                Part Muffs, part something else, you really should know Superchunk by now and you should already be rocking this party.
