I
have been listening to this Beacon album for a while, pondering whether or not
to write a review for it. The duo mixes
electronic beats with R&B, which brings to mind .jpeg Artifacts, which
brings to mind any number of other bands, but to an extent I still like this.
There
is also a remix album that goes along with this rather nicely, so even if you
don’t like the source material perhaps the remixes will get you.
